Animance - the animated space in performance
The animated space is a time bound symbiosis of material elements, imagery and projection. It is the pursue to reflect on contemporary conditions of being for the individual human being.
This longterm research project is the attempt to melt together animation, space and physical activity to produce an immersive experience of world. In this interaction the theatrical space becomes an acting and reacting partner of the performance.
Over the last five years I visited several workshops and festivals which evolve around the context of digital complexity. Several sketches, improvisations and experiments developed over time. The first public performance is supposed to happen in 2021:
